Oklahoma gets Red River Rival Parker Livingstone from Portal

Oklahoma made a splash in the transfer portal by pulling a player straight from its biggest rival, as former Texas wide receiver Parker Livingstone has committed to the Sooners, according to reports.

Livingstone recorded 29 receptions for 516 yards and six touchdowns during the 2025 season and made his decision after recent visits to Oklahoma and Indiana. The 6-foot-1, 191-pound receiver still has three years of eligibility remaining. He was also a close off-the-field presence at Texas, serving as the roommate of quarterback Arch Manning.

After sitting out the 2024 season as a redshirt, Livingstone became a steady contributor for the Longhorns last fall. He appeared in 11 games, starting seven, and finished as one of Texas’s top receiving options, ranking third on the team in yardage. His addition is part of a broader push by Oklahoma to reload through the portal.

With several key pass catchers set to leave and Isaiah Sategna III yet to decide his future, Oklahoma’s recent transfer additions are expected to have a significant impact on the offense moving forward.
