Jones, White beef over UFC Freedom 250 White House Card

In the days and even weeks before the release of the White House card for America’s 250th birthday, two big names were being thrown around to be a part of the event: Jon Jones and Conor McGregor. Now, as both stars have been excluded from taking part, one hasn’t taken it lightly.

Jon Jones has gone after UFC CEO Dana White after being left out of the card. Jones said that he and his team had been in discussions with the UFC on making it happen, but that he was lowballed. White says that he never planned to have Bones on the card and that he won’t fight in the UFC again due to a video that was released about his hip arthritis.

While one went about his side of the story on “X”, White gave his side in press conferences.

“I sent a text to his lawyer saying, ‘Never going to happen, ever.’” This is what the UFC CEO had to say about Jones going out and posting about negotiations to participate in the event. All tweets that can be found as being something that White responded to have been taken down.

Who knows the real story, but this sparked up in a hurry. White has even said that he considers Jones the best MMA fighter ever, so maybe he was considering his health, but Jones did not take it lightly.

The card is awesome nonetheless, and the excitement should be real in preparation.
