Wow wow wow wow, the Ravens backing out of their trade of Two first round picks for Crosby is WILD! I was genuinely shocked as this affects both teams. The Raiders spent day 1 of free agency signing a bunch of players, and now they have to account for Crosby on their salary. Unless they can trade him by tomorrow of course. If the Raiders somehow can’t they are going to have a huge payroll coming their way. For the Ravens, this is going to affect them in trust from other organizations for a little. As a report came out earlier by @jasonLaCanfora on X that other gm’s aren’t buying the “failed physical” narrative from the Ravens. The Ravens have also lost out on a bunch of players to free agency as well. So everything in Baltimore is looking really rough right now. My take on it, is why back out now? Is this going to have them make a big move like signing Trey Hendrickson instead of giving up picks? who knows as we will see tomorrow when the grace period ends in free agency and contracts become official.
