The NFL combine has begun 3 days ago and is going on till March 2nd. For some college prospects this is the last major chance to make an impact for scouting NFL teams and to give those prospects one bigger chance to help their chances of getting drafted.
For NFL fans who don’t follow college football (like myself) with the same amount of intensity, the combine provides football fans with an early glimpse at future NFL stars. Want to see if that quarterback prospect actually has a cannon for an arm, or if that wideout really is as fast as everyone says? This is the opportunity for both fans and NFL teams to find that out.
Thursday began the on field workouts for Kickers, defensive linemen and other defensive positions so now prospects can really back up what they say.
One of the more popular events at the combine is always the 40 yard dash. Texas tech’s David Bailey had the fast time this year not only as a defensive edge but overall at the combine with a time of 4.50 seconds.

With several days still full of unpredictability the combine could turn a 3rd round draft pick into a 1st round draft pick overnight. Stay tuned for more!
